Hooks

Hooks are used to attach wedge type service drops and deadend clamps to crossarms, poles or buildings, they also support bail-type drop wire. With many different kinds in the industry, drive hooks have rolled fetter drive threads and a pilot point for easy starting. While others are completed with a square nut, are able to bolt through the side of a wood crossarm for deadend needs. Placing hooks are used as stringing tools to facilitate the installation of figure 8 cable. The hallow base of it permits installation over the nut and washer of the thru bolt. Here at Northern Power we offer a full line of them for supporting bail-type drop wire and deadend clamps from poles and crossarms.
